10 years after our first gathering, we return to Lima to collectively craft a critical stance against the antidemocratic trends that threaten the advancement of our rights
Over the course of 3 days, we will reflect on how to remain PRESENT in our democracies, focusing on everything that makes us POWERFUL, and how we will achieve equality TOGETHER.
Agenda
Recognizing that in recent years many members of our network have faced setbacks and political attacks, while at the same time witnessing a historic number of electoral victories for LGBTI leaders in the region, we have designed an agenda that allows us to celebrate our achievements, share lessons learned, and create spaces for collaborative work.
One hundred LGBTI leaders from the Americas and the Caribbean will meet in Lima to combine training sessions with concrete political action, with the goal of building the Lima Agenda: a regional roadmap that reflects our priorities and strengthens the LGBTI political movement in the face of current challenges.
